How shipping works

A straightforward process from quote to delivery.

We keep it simple: you share the basics, we align the right carrier, and you receive clear updates until the vehicle is safely delivered.

  1. 1

    Request a quote

Tell us pickup & delivery details and the vehicle info.

Include anything important (low clearance, fresh paint, non-running condition) so we can recommend the best transport option.

  2. 2

    Confirm schedule

We coordinate an available carrier window and confirm timeline.

You’ll get an estimated pickup window and a delivery estimate based on route, season, and carrier availability.

  3. 3

    Pickup & inspection

Vehicle is picked up and documented before transport begins.

Condition is typically recorded on a Bill of Lading, and we recommend taking photos for your records.

  4. 4

    Delivery

Delivered to your address (or nearest accessible point), with handoff confirmation.

At delivery, the vehicle is inspected again and you confirm receipt—so the process ends as clearly as it began.

Shipping options

Choose the balance of protection, budget, and timing that works for you.

This section compares transport methods; below you’ll also see delivery “types” and when each one makes the most sense.

Open carrier

Most cost-effective option. Ideal for many vehicles and common routes.

A strong choice when you want dependable transport and broad availability across major lanes.

  • Great value
  • Widely available
  • Door-to-door options

Enclosed transport

Recommended for high-value classics, low-clearance cars, or show vehicles.

Added protection helps reduce exposure to weather and road debris during transit.

  • Extra protection
  • Ideal for classics
  • Reduced exposure

Expedited / private

Priority pickup windows or private trailer solutions when timing is critical.

Best when dates are tight or you prefer a more controlled, direct route with fewer stops.

  • Faster windows
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Less transit time
Need help choosing? Request a quote and tell us your priorities (budget vs. protection vs. timeline). If you’re shipping a classic, mention any special handling needs—fresh restoration, low clearance, or storage requirements.

Shipping Types

Choose the option that fits your timeline, protection needs, and budget.

Think of these as common delivery scenarios: enclosed vs. open-air for protection, and international as a handoff workflow when shipping across borders.

Enclosed vehicle transport trailer

Enclosed Delivery

Transported inside a fully enclosed trailer to protect from weather and road debris. Ideal for classic, luxury, and high-value vehicles.

Recommended for freshly restored paint, rare trims, or vehicles you want kept as clean as possible during transport.

Open-air carrier transport with multiple vehicles

Open-Air Delivery

Shipped on a professional auto hauler. A safe, cost-effective option for standard vehicles when you want solid value without sacrificing reliability.

Great for common routes and flexible schedules—often the fastest to book due to higher carrier availability.

International vehicle shipping concept

International Delivery

For customers shipping across borders. We can assist with vehicle preparation and documentation before handing off to your international transport provider.

If you already have a freight forwarder, we’ll help align pickup timing and ensure the vehicle is ready for export requirements.

Coverage & delivery notes

We can coordinate delivery across the U.S. For remote areas, delivery may be arranged to the nearest accessible point.

Some neighborhoods have trailer restrictions or limited access—when that happens, we’ll coordinate a convenient nearby meeting spot for a safe handoff.

Insurance Carriers typically provide cargo insurance during transit. Coverage limits can vary by carrier—ask us if you’d like confirmation before dispatch.
Vehicle condition We recommend photos before pickup and at delivery. For a smoother pickup, remove personal items and keep the fuel level low (about 1/4 tank is common).
Timing Routes and seasons affect availability—expedited options are available. Weather, holidays, and route density can shift windows; we’ll communicate changes as early as possible.

Request a delivery quote

The more accurate the details, the more accurate the quote—especially for classics, low-clearance vehicles, or time-sensitive requests.
